The really exciting news is that Taffa and Gareth have set the date for their wedding. They are to be wed in the Cambridge Registry Office on the last Saturday of August, with a garden luncheon party at their place afterwards to celebrate. Then loads of people are going to a Rock Rave in the evening. I understand it will be loud and grungy. The Builder and I thought we might perhaps miss that bit. But we are very much looking forward to the rest of it. We have a gazebo that The Builder bought last summer which should just about cover their garden. This means that even if it rains we will still be able to use the outside. I fear their house might be a bit on the small side for a purely indoor party. It’s very exciting.
I might buy a new hat!
